Hi, I'm Dennis. I'm a sophomore at WWP High School South. I started playing piano when I was 7 years old, and switched to study with Mrs.Clarfield when I was 10.

For me, playing the piano has made me more disciplined. Practicing every day lets me clear my head and just focus on music. Playing the piano is something that I can rely on doing every day, no matter what else happens during the day. It has taught me discipline and gives me a sense of accomplishment.

With Mrs.Clarfield, I have entered and won awards at numerous competitions, including the Hartford International Chopin Competition(Second Place), NJMTA Young Musicians Competition (HM), Elite International Competition(Gold star award), Great Composers Competition(best Tchaikovsky Performance), and Musicfest Rising Talents Competition(grand prix). I also use my piano skills to help other children by performing in performathons.

Besides piano, I am also a swimmer. I play video games, and study in my free time. I also play the viola in the school orchestra.
