Mrs. Victoria Chow-Torres has both her Bachelors and Master's in Music (Piano Performance and Pedagogy) and studied with Ingrid Clarfield (internationally renowned pedagogue) for over 6 years where she respectfully graduated Summa Cum Laude and with Distinction. She is recently recognized as a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in Piano through Music Teachers National Association in August 2017.
Mrs. Chow is currently an Adjunct Professor of Piano at her alma mater, Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.
Mrs. Chow has maintained a private piano studio for over 15 years. As a member for both New Jersey Music Teacher's Association, Music Teachers National Association, and 2017-2019 President and Festival Chairperson for Central New Jersey's Piano Teacher's Forum, Mrs. Chow's students are highly involved in competitions, festivals, auditions and recitals. Her students have been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall and Kimmel Center in recognition of the highest state score for the Music Development Program, Rising Talents Music Fest, Crescendo Music Festival, NJMTA High Honors Recitals, NJMTA Honors Recitals and PTF Honors recitals. Every year, her studio presents a Winter Recital and Spring Recital. Additionally, Mrs. Chow facilitates studio classes monthly (free of charge) to encourage a less solitary approach to piano.
Mrs. Chow is proud to have tenured at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in West Windsor, NJ as church musician from 2006-2016. She is currently the Collaborative Artist at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton in Princeton, NJ. Mrs. Chow was the recent Director of Piano and certified MusikGarten teacher at Musicians in the Making Music School in Plainsboro, NJ, Piano Teacher for St. Rose of Lima Catholic of Freehold, NJ and Piano Camp Teacher for Calgary Arts Summer School Association in Canada.
