Sabina (maiden name Pauta, now Pieslak) divides her time between Hawaii and New York City, with her husband and twin seven-year-old sons, Brendan and Kai.

She currently enjoys coaching high school students applying to college, and college students applying to scholarships, graduate school, and other career-oriented programs, through her company, Select Educational Consulting.

It brings her joy to see so many students make their college and graduate school dreams come true.

In Hawaii, Sabina is the pianist for the Church of the Pacific.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Westminster Choir College in 1998, Sabina went on to teach as Adjunct Associate Professor of Music at The City College, CUNY, in New York City, for ten years. Previously, while obtaining her Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology, she also taught at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Sabina has also enjoyed a flourishing career as visual artist, exhibiting her paintings and sculptures in New York and internationally.

At home, she sings as part of her kids' band, The Rockets, with Jonathan on guitar, Brendan on electric bass and Kai on drums, along with two of their young school friends.
