Jaeyeon Chung was born in South Korea and began accompanying her church choir by the time she was 12 years old. She graduated from Dankook University Graduate School in South Korea, where she majored in Piano Accompanying. She also studied Dance Accompanying at Sungshin Women's University Graduate School in South Korea and earned a Master’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.

Jaeyeon has performed at the Sydney Opera House in Australia and has been an accompanist for the Gospel Church in Yeouido, South Korea, as well as at Seoul Arts High School, William Halloran School, Bergen Catholic High School, Princeton Ballet School, and Princeton Girl Choir in NJ. She has accompanied and performed at numerous universities and other venues in South Korea and around the world.

Today, Ms. Chung is an accompanist at Westminster Choir College and Rutgers University and a music teacher at Trenton Public Elementary School in NJ. She is also the Music Director at Pennsylvania Lutheran Church.
