"My name is Ayumi Hashimoto. My studies include Oberlin College Conservatory of Music (B.M.) with Sedmara Zakarian Rutstein and Westminster Choir College (M.M.) with Ingrid Clarfield. I am also an alumni of Mrs. Clarfield's High School Piano Camp! Presently, I am teaching in New Jersey, both privately and at music schools. My students have been selected as performers through various organizations for Weill Recital/Hall of Carnegie Hall, Kimmel Center, etc.; passed with distinction marks on exams of Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music; participated in events of NJMTA. One of the neatest experience was when my student played "Toccata Chromatica", a piece by Dennis Alexander, from Mrs. Clarfield's Keys to Stylistic Mastery, at Weill Recital Hall... "
