After Graduating from Westminster with degrees in Piano and Voice in 2011, I went onto Eastman and got a masters in Voice. In 2013 I received 1st Prize in the MTNA Young Artist Voice Competition. Since 2013, I have been working on my DMA still at Eastman and even though my degree will be in voice, this year I have started taking piano lessons with Dr. Jean Barr.

This Fall I am giving recitals in Bloomfield Hills, MI at Cranbrook Schools and Rochester, NY. I will also be at Lynchburg College for a week giving lectures and a recital. In addition to working towards a doctorate I have been affiliated with a program called the Institute for Young Dramatic Voices which is designed to help prepare young singers for the repertoire of Verdi, Strauss, and Puccini.

For the past couple years I have been serving as a Director of Music at Our Mother of Sorrows Church and teaching voice for the Eastman Community Music School teaching younger students and adult students - making use of many of the learning techniques and information taught in the Piano Pedagogy courses I had to take at Westminster - even though they are voice students! This year I also was invited to join the voice faculty at Nazareth College where I teach Music Majors and Musical Theatre.
